Plein air piece. I was riding my bike(motorcycle) around yesterday. Just tooling around like an island tourist on a scooter. I passed by an electrical relay station and was strongly considering it for a subject when I found this tiny nook on the other side of a shelterbelt. That's how it goes with painting outdoors for me. I might leave home heading to a particular spot to paint and then change my mind when I see something in that particular light. It's often a miniscule difference but when something catches your eye, I've learned to embrace it. Studying exactly what it is that is standing out today that wasn't standing out yesterday. Or even in the last hour. And if the sun is setting, then it may be remarkably different within a few minutes. ~RJB
